Dear Parents, Students, Alumni & Community Members:
Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year! I am elated to welcome you back and look forward to all the fresh smiles that warm our hearts. It is with great honor, I enter my fourth year as the Principal of Pueblo. I am truly blessed to work with, what I believe is the best faculty and staff in the state of Arizona. I would also like to extend a warm welcome to newly appointed Assistant Principal, Karla Martinez, an employee whom we wholeheartedly trust. I look forward to working with her and believe firmly she will serve the Pueblo community with honor, dignity and respect.
We have worked hard all summer, hosting 3 sessions of Summer School, Freshman Academy, Jumpstart and several CTE Classes and are carefully planning a safe opening of the 2021-2022 school year. Some areas of the school have been modified and we will work diligently to recreate key spaces around campus. In addition, we have increased our social and emotional resources and look forward to providing an equity and excellent atmosphere that will prepare students for their path.
Pueblo has a unique culture and climate where students can flourish academically, socially, and skillfully. We look forward to not only continuing that trajectory, but building upon it. Along with our dedicated faculty and staff, we strive to make connections with students so they feel valued, accepted and safe. We believe wholeheartedly in the motto, “¡Sí Se Puede!” and “Once a Warrior Always a Warrior.”
I welcome you to Pueblo and let’s make the 2021-2022 school year memorable.
